MEN'S SCROUNGERS Thursday afternoon
Scroungers:
A men’s comp where a lot of bantering and friendly rivalry goes on during play on Thursday afternoons. It is extremely popular amongst the guys and a very successful comp. Originally started by Grayden Clack it began in season 2008/9 and has continued to grow. Play starts at 2 pm in summer and 1.30 pm in winter.
The Whittaker Challenge Series is played each year between Dunsborough and Busselton Tennis Clubs in memory of past member of both clubs, Dave Whittaker.

SUNDAY CHALLENGE
Sunday Mixed Challenge: The format is a teams event.
What really lifts the format above the other tennis played at the club is he is opening up entries to everyone. All the ranking decisions are to be based on results. Female, male, juniors, members, visitors and casual players are all welcome and will be ranked according results with your age and gender having no bearing on rankings.
There is no minimum skill level required with the exception you need to have a skill/fitness level to cope with the playing of a set of singles. It is hoped that the “Challenge” will appeal to the better players within the club but also to players looking to take their tennis to the next level, there is nothing like a competitive game of singles to improve your game. There is also scope for the stronger juniors to get some big game experience.

TUESDAY NIGHT MIXED TENNIS
Tuesday Night Tennis is a mixed social format.
Playing 3 tie breaker sets in a round robin format over a number of weeks, starting at the commencement of terms 4, 1, 2, 3 each year. Teams of 4 players begin play at 7 pm and play until approximately 9 pm.

THURSDAY NIGHT MENS TENNIS
Thursday Night Tennis:
Thursday Night is an intraclub pennant night. We run 4 seasons across each year. These seasons generally run 8-9 weeks roughly in line with the school terms.
Each evening players play 1 set of singles and 2 sets of doubles. The competition is open to members and non-members. There is no restriction on playing standard with the format designed that you will be paired against players of similar ability. Please note that all players play singles so the ability and fitness for this is required.
7pm start, finish time is dependent on the length of the sets (typically about 9pm).
The bar is open afterwards to relive the nights highlights over a couple of cold ones.
